Senior software engineer

Emiton is a software engineer who comes from Amazon with experience in full-stack development. Prior to Empower, he completed degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. His thesis included creating a mobile application which allowed individuals with developmental disabilities learn about and report abuse. Emiton is also a first generation Cape Verdean American who is actively involved in the Cape Verdean community. Whenever he isn’t coding he is usually playing board games or cooking up new recipes to share with friends and family.
