Mass Dems Launch Relational Engagement Program
In 2025 the Massachusetts Democratic Party Made Relational Organizing the Backbone of its Program
The party recognizes that every conversation brings Democrats closer to victory and that every supporter has the power to be an organizer when they leverage their personal network.
In partnership with the Empower Project, the party launched its relational program at the 2025 fall convention. Hundreds of delegates and guests downloaded the Empower app, giving the party the ability to reach voters more frequently and more quickly than ever before.
With declining contact rates on the doors and on the phone, the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s approach demonstrates how Democrats can cut through the noise and lay the groundwork for stronger organizing in 2025 and beyond.
