Empowering
Change
We have been on a journey to help the movement better connect to and resonate with the lives of the people the movement advocates for by centering their stories and their relationships.
Through that focus on authentic communication between real people with real relationships we have learned how to effectively support impactful engagement through organic community social infrastructure networks.
By empowering people to reach out to their trusted family, friends, and neighbors we equip communities with the tools to successfully advocate for real change and build resilient power.

We Care About
Effective Engagement
Empower Project is determined to help provide the programs, tools, and support people need to successfully confront the challenges of our times. We have researched and tested the best methods and tools that we can use to work together to make the most impact.
Values
Empower Project recognizes that we are in a moment of tremendous crisis and is on a mission to center effectively reaching people in the work of our movement.
Mission
We envision a world where communities use the power of their personal relationships to build support for social justice, equity, and the freedom for everyone in America to thrive.
Vision
We believe in the movement owning its own tools maintained by entities whose sole motivation is the success of the movement. We are proud to be a nonprofit that prioritizes making a positive impact.
For us, that means focusing on:
Collective Change
Coalition Building
Shared Learning
Diversity and Inclusion
Continuous Improvement
Dismantling Systemic Barriers
Shared Commitment
The Idea of Empower Project
Empower Project exists because of the knowledge that our movement can and must do a better job of reaching and resonating with people.
Empower Project believes that the tools our movement needs to succeed are best maintained and supported when they are owned by our movement and accessible for everyone in it.
Empower Project understands that being able to effectively advocate for one’s self and one’s family is profoundly rooted in privilege and that more people and more communities ought to be able to participate in our civic process, have their voices heard, and get their needs addressed.
