Kenneth Chow

Growing up in a Chinese immigrant household, I learned the power of community to shape opinion. Because of the language barrier, my family mainly trusted other Chinese immigrants to help learn what doctors to go to, what churches to go to, and what resources are available. Our family relied heavily on the relationships with the community to live and engage with government services. Relational organizing builds on this truth of my family to help bring about necessary change.
