Aaron Sofaer

California-raised and queer as a rainbow, Aaron worked her way up from QA to DevOps before joining Empower in summer of 2024. She's an author and a dad, an inveterate reader and a pretty sharp home chef, and a woman who's deeply happy to apply her professional skills towards the work that needs doing; there's a better world to be built, and the first step is to put the levers of power into the hands of those who might build it.

She lives in the suburbs with her wife and daughter, but she dreams of returning to the city someday where the transit is mass and the karaoke bars are plentiful. In the meantime she continues to walk everywhere she can and enjoy the dramatic way her clothes billow in the breeze.
